Hello Everyone and Happy New Year! We started the new year with a bang by putting together the and starring in the assembly on Friday! Phew! We only had 2 days to prepare so I helped a bit but we performed a Reader's Theater based on a book that we had read called Squirrel's New Year's Resolution! The students did really well after only 3 run throughs and the rest of the school community really enjoyed it. Those not with speaking parts, ran the camera to film it and/or created a sign and helped orchestrate the play! I was just in the background! It was great! Three of our classmates shared their goals for 2019 and to never give up and keep on trying! I'm just so proud of this group! They really stepped up to the plate!
MATH: We are working on multi digit multiplication right now. I worked with small groups on Friday to review and they are doing great! Practicing facts on Reflex has really made a difference and you can tell the students are feeling very accomplished. If students still feel the need to work on their multiplication facts they can work on Reflex as an alternative to a video game(as they do have games that they play on Reflex) We will be taking the Unit 4 assessment as well as a mid year assessment the week of 1/14/19
