Although I grew up in the White Mountains of New Hampshire, York, Maine has been home for the past twenty seven years. I live with my husband and two spoiled golden retrievers, named Finley and Teddy. We have two beautiful daughters. Our oldest is a teacher herself--of high school English and our youngest just started her career in Virginia. Some of my hobbies include; stand up paddleboarding, walking my dogs reading and baking. I have been teaching at CRES for the past thirteen years. For about 8 years I taught third grade and this will be my fifth year teaching fourth grade. Striking a balance in my life is important to me and I try to impart this to my students, as well. Although teaching is a second career for me, I feel that I have found my true passion in life and feel fortunate to work with the wonderful students, staff and colleagues at Coastal Ridge. I am a lifelong learner and am always ready for a new challenge. My students teach me something new every day and I enjoy the mutual respect and learning that happens in our classroom community.
